Electric Ebulliometer
An ebulliometer is an important piece of winemaking lab equipment. It provides a fast method for determining the alcohol content in a finished wine. Ebulliometers work best with dry wines because the presence of sugars changes the boiling point of the wine sample and introduces inaccuracies in the calculation that must be accounted for and adjusted.
This ebulliometer is made in France by Dujardin-Salleron. It includes an electronic probe and digital screen, automatic atmospheric pressure compensation and an automatic heating regulation. Results only take 6 minutes. The reliability of the results is 0.1%. Power supply is 110 V.
