An economical and convenient solution for brewers wanting to keep yeast ready to use. Our modified keg can hold up to a half barrel of yeast slurry. In addition to storing yeast this product, which was designed with the advice of many brewers, can be used to grow, aerate and propagate yeast pitches also.
Complete 1/2 bbl. keg set up with valves, gauges, pressure relief, gas check valve for yeast propagation.
• Brand new 15.5 gal. keg with 4" neck opening and a reducer 4" x 1-1/2" TC.
• Includes yeast piping, sanitary pressure gauge, pressure relief valve, gas check valve, clamps and gaskets.
• Two butterfly valves for inlet and outlet in 1.5" TC.
