- Designed to meet demanding sanitary requirement of food and beverage application.
- Product does not come in contact with pressure gauge. Ideal for CIP or equipment washdown.
- Meets 3-A sanitary standard in 316 stainless steel.
- The pressure gauge can not be taken off the stainless steel membrane base or else it will no longer read accurately.
- The gauge is dry but can be filled with glycerin if being used in an application that involves vigorous shaking and vibrations.
- The glycerin will help smooth out the needle during shaking. Glycerin can be bought at most drugstores. The top of the gauge has a small rubber cap that can be removed to fill the case with glycerin and then replaced to prevent spilling.
