  • An ebulliometer is used to determine the alcohol content of a finished dry wine, cider and beer.  It is designed to accurately measure the boiling point of the wine by measuring the temperature of the vapor-liquid equilibrium. 
  • Made in France by Laboratoires Dujardin-Salleron, the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of ebulliometers.  This ebulliometer comes in a wooden case and includes an alcohol lamp, water/wine measurement tube, a box of wicks, a calculation disk and a precision digital thermometer.

The test is based on the difference in boiling points of water and alcohol. Ebulliometer will not give an accurate reading for wines with high residual sugar, distillation method is needed. Complete ebulliometer kit with alcohol lamp, digital thermometer and pack in elegant wood carry case.
