Variable Capacity Slope Bottom Jacket Wine Tank - 2250 L.

This floating lid, variable capacity wine tank is made of high quality 304L stainless steel for years of dependable service. Highly polished and sanitary for easy cleaning. With one U-shaped cooling jacket on the back this tank achieves efficient cooling even if the tank is not filled up to the top. It has a very large front manway door allowing for easy clean-out. The tank slopes from the back to the front manway door, making it easier to rake out after a red wine fermentation.

Variable capacity tanks are a staple of the wine industry. Grape yields will vary with each harvest, but you can use the same variable capacity tank year after year. Perfect for any size winery. The inflatable gasket achieves an air-tight seal keeping out damaging air contact. The mounted lifting arm makes it easy to raise and lower the floating lid. Stainless steel hand pump is included for inflating the lid gasket. The concept is similar to the inner tube on a bicycle tire.

Included are adjustable feet and foot pads, lifting arm, inflatable gasket, hand pump, tubing, air vent, rope for lifting arm, high quality G.W. Kent stainless steel butterfly valves, clamps, gaskets, thermometer, floating lid and everything needed to make wine, except a solenoid valve and tank temperature controller.
