• The T-1000 filter sheets are used for coarse filtration.
• Average particle retention range is 10-25 microns.
• Main constituents are cellulose and perlite.

Used for coarse filtration of natural extracts, sugar syrup, honey and edible oils. A good choice for removal of visible particles. The reduced density and high porosity media make T-1000 suitable for filtering a wide variety of viscous materials, retaining gel particles, or coarse dispersed substances at low differential pressures. From the selection and quality control of raw materials to application of the latest production technologies, the EK filter sheets meet the highest quality standards. Produced in a controlled environment and manufactured according to ISO 9001:2008 certified Quality Management System. Full traceability as each individual filter sheet is laser etched with the sheet grade, batch number and production date. A combination of surface, depth and adsorptive filtration. High solids retention, very good permeability and excellent filtrate quality.

REGENERATION

The filter sheets may be rinsed with clean water in forward or reverse direction to increase throughput and optimize economic efficiency. Optimal regeneration can be achieved with serial rinses of warm water followed by hot water. For instance, rinse with warm water for 15 minutes (60 C/140F) followed by hot water for 8-10 minutes (70-80C/158-176F). Back pressure of 0.5-1bar (7.2-14.5 psi).

STERILIZATION AND SANITATION

• Steam for 20 minutes at 125C/257F at maximum differential pressure of 0.5 bar/7.2 psi.
• Hot Water for 30 minutes at 90C/194F at maximum differential pressure of 1 bar/14.5 psi.
