- Aquafil brand single layer Polyethersulphone Membrane Cartridge Filters made in the UK by Porvair Filtration Group. Aquafil brand cartridges are based on a naturally hydrophilic polyethersulfone membrane with a mirrored asymmetric pore structure. When combined with quality all-polypropylene cartridge components and high integrity manufacturing techniques common to all Porvair cartridge filters, this polyethersulfone membrane provides a high strength, long life cartridge.
- Aquafil brand cartridges benefit from the low non-specific protein binding characteristics of polyethersulfone membranes. They do not hydrolyze, making them ideal for use in ultra-pure water supply systems. These cartridges provide a combination of features and benefits that were, until now, unavailable from cartridges based on PVDF, nylon, mixed esters of cellulose or polysulphone membranes.
- Code 7 connection P7, 2-226. The top has a fin and the bottom has two 226 O-rings and two locking tabs. Simply push down and twist to lock the filter cartridge into place in the base of your Code 7 filter housing.
- Polyethersulfone filter cartridges are Absolute, not Nominal.
- Maximum continuous operating temperature is 60 C ( 140 F ), but it can be sterilized with steam.
