- This Lateral Y ( WYE ) is made of highly polished, sanitary 304L stainless steel.
- It is 3-A certified for use in food, beverage and pharmaceutical applications in sanitary-grade line process equipment.
- All 3 ends are 1.5” TC.
- Connects with TC clamps and gaskets for easy disassembly for COP ( clean out-of-place ).
- A Lateral Y has a different shape from a “True Wye”.
- Our Lateral Y has a straight side and a 30 degree angular inlet leading into the flow pattern.
- It is often used in a piping application where there is a need to inject into a process flow pattern.
