Depth filter sheets developed to meet the entire range of removal requirements in the food and beverage industry.

• The sheets are 40 cm X 40 cm/15.8” X 15.8.
• The K-150 filter sheets are used for polishing filtration.
• Average particle retention range is 3-4 microns.
• Flow velocity is 850 liters per square meter per hour, or 20.9 gallons per square feet per hour at a maximum differential pressure of 3 bar/43.5 psi.
• Main constituents are cellulose, diatomaceous earth ( DE, Kieselguhr), perlite.

Used for polishing of wine and other beverages, pre-filtration of juice prior to final membrane filtration and haze removal if apple juice/cider. From the selection and quality control of raw materials to application of the latest production technologies, the EK filter sheets meet the highest quality standards. REGENERATION

The filter sheets may be rinsed with clean water in forward or reverse direction to increase throughput and optimize economic efficiency. Optimal regeneration can be achieved with serial rinses of warm water followed by hot water. For instance, rinse with warm water for 15 minutes (60 C/140F) followed by hot water for 8-10 minutes (70-80C/158-176F). Back pressure of 0.5-1bar (7.2-14.5 psi).

STERILIZATION AND SANITATION

Steam for 20 minutes at 125C/257F at maximum differential pressure of 0.5 bar/7.2 psi. Or Hot Water for 30 minutes at 90C/194F at maximum differential pressure of 1 bar/14.5 psi.
