- Nominal retention range of 0.5-0.7 microns.
- Highly effective mineral free and biodegradable depth filter media containing only purified cellulose fiber. The biggest difference between BECOPADs and most other filter sheets is that BECOPADs contain no Diatomaceous Earth (DE) or perlite. Made 100% from purified cellulose fiber which reduces flushing volume by up to 50% compared to conventional filter sheets containing DE and perlite. BECOPADs will also achieve up to 20% greater through-puts compared to conventional filter sheets due to its maximum backwash capability. Higher wet strength than conventional sheets. With very low extractable ions these pads will not impart any undesirable taste in your product.
- BECOPAD 270 is for coarse filtration including removal of particles from fruit juice and tea-based drinks, olive oil polishing, wine and beer clarification, removal of fining agents and arresting fermentation.
- Optimal flow rate of 25 gallons per hour per square foot of filter sheet area.
