- Designed to meet demanding sanitary requirement of food and beverage application.
- Product does not come in contact with pressure gauge. Ideal for CIP or equipment washdown.
- Meets 3-A sanitary standard in 316 stainless steel.
- The pressure gauge can not be taken off the stainless steel membrane base or else it will no longer read accurately.
- The gauge is dry but can be filled with glycerin if being used in an application that involves vigorous shaking and vibrations. The glycerin will help smooth out the needle during shaking. Glycerin can be bought at most drugstores. The top of the gauge has a small rubber cap that can be removed to fill the case with glycerin and then replaced to prevent spilling.
